For those of you who have never been in Heidelberg: this city is an ideal destination for a 2-3 day trip! The must-do sightseeing in Heidelberg includes a walk on the famous Philosophenweg, the old bridge and the castle (best take sturdy shoes for that one. There are nice walks around there too). In addition, it’s always worth taking a tour through the poetic quarters of Neuenheim and around the „Tiefburg“. People with kids will love the little Spielplatz on Ploeck (Old Town), where you‘ll also find a number of coffee shops and eateries to enjoy a relaxed outing on the playground. Otherwise, we recommend a visit to the “Falknerei Tinnunculus” on top of the Königsstuhl or the Zoo. For those who like to see more of the Neckar valley: take a trip downriver, there are charming villages and castles to see.
